county shall have full power and authority, upon ap-
plication of the petitioners, on the part of the said
minors, and being satisfied that it is necessary, and
will be of advantage to said minors, to order the sale
of the said lands upon such terms as the court may
think proper, by appointing a trustee or trustees for
the purpose of effecting such sale.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That any sale made
by the authority of the orphans' court of said county
under this act, before the conveyance of the property
shall be made, a bond with good and sufficient secu-
rity, in the name of the state of Maryland, to be
approved by the orphans' court of said county, shall be
given by the person or persons empowered to sell the
lands aforesaid, for the due execution of the trust to
him or them committed; which bond shall be lodged
with the register of wills of said county; and the said
bond shall be recorded, and be subject to be put in
suit by any person or persons interested for, and in
behalf of the said minors, in the same manner as
administration bonds now are.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That the trustee or
trustees appointed by virtue of this act, shall be ac-
countable to the guardian or guardians of the said
minors, under the direction of the orphans' court of the
county aforesaid, and pay over the money arising
from the sale of the lands aforesaid, in such manner
as the orphans' court aforesaid shall or may direct.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That any conveyance
or deed made by the trustee or trustees aforesaid, pur-
suant to the directions of the orphans' court aforesaid,
shall, and is hereby declared to be valid and effectual
to pass and convey all the right, title and interest of
the said minors, in and to the lands aforesaid, to the
purchaser or purchasers of the same.

AND BE IT ENACTED, That in case of sale
of the lands above mentioned, the justices of the
orphans' court of Dorchester county shall allow the
widow, as a full compensation for her right of dower,
not more than one seventh, nor less than one tenth
part of the nett amounts of sales.
