and provisions of the said act and supplements, not
withstanding the execution of a certain deed of trust
by the said Lemuel Warfield to Lewis Pascault and
Jeremiah Sullivan, dated the twenty-seventh day of
February eighteen hundred and eleven.

 

CHAPTER 44.

Passed Dec. 27,
1811.

An ad for the relief of Edward B. Lowry, of
the city of Baltimore.

Benefit of the
insolvent laws
granted.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges of Baltimore county court,
be, and they are hereby authorised and directed to
extend to Edward B. Lowry, of the city of Baltimore
the benefit of the act of assembly, passed at Novem-
ber session eighteen hundred and five, entitled, " An
act for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors, " and the
several supplements thereto, without requiring the
said Edward B. Lowry to produce the assent in
writing, of two thirds of his creditors, as is prescribed
by the provisions of the said act and supplements.

 

CHAPTER 45.

Passed Dec 27,
1811.

An act for the benefit of the representatives of
Henry Charles, late of Dorchester county,
deceased.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It is represented to this General As-
sembly, by the petition of a number of persons nearest
of kin to the said representatives, praying that a law
may pass empowering the orphans5 court of Dorches-
ter county to appoint some person or persons to
make sale of the following tracts of land, by the names
of Brown's Chance, and part of a tract of land called
Brown's Purchase, containing one hundred and eleven
acres and one half acre of land, more or less; the said
lands lying and being in Caroline county, state of
Maryland, belonging to the heirs of the deceased.
And whereas. It is represented that the said lands are
of no great value, and much out of repair; and that in
consequence of the deceased leaving nine children,
which are all minors, the lands will not bear a divi-
sion, and that the rents of said lands will not repair
the houses on the same: Therefore,
