1849.

aforesaid, within six days next preceding the produc-
tion of such head or heads, tail or tails, before the
said justice, and the said justice shall thereupon give
to the person producing it, a certificate, wherein he
shall set forth the above mentioned oath or affirmation,
and shall at the same time cut off the ears and tail,
and cut out the tongue from any such head, so as to
prevent any second allowance therefor.

CHAP. 418.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the commissioners of the aforesaid county,
to levy upon the assessable property of said county
the above mentioned allowance, with the collector's
commission upon the same, to be, paid to the person
presenting such certificate, by the collector aforesaid.

How levied.

A further supplement to an act entitled, an act to In-
corporate the Baltimore and Susquehanna Rail Road
Company.

1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That so soon as the Baltimore and
Susquehanna rail road company, in general meeting of
the stockholders assembled, shall have approved, assent-
ed and agreed to the provisions of this act, and shall
have communicated to the treasurer of Maryland, their
acceptance of its terms as aforesaid, under the corporate
seal of said company, and the signature of its president
and directors, or a majority of them, and the city of
Baltimore, by an ordinance of its mayor and city coun-
cil, shall have approved, assented and agreed to the
provisions of this act, and a copy of said ordinance, un-
der the seal of the city and the hand of the mayor, shall
be deposited with the treasurer of Maryland, that then
the act of December session, eighteen hundred and for-
ty-five, chapter ninety-three, shall be and is hereby de-
clared to be revived and in full force and effect, subject
to the modifications thereof expressed by this act, and
the president and directors of the Baltimore and Sus-
quehanna rail load company, shall be and are hereby-
authorised and empowered to exercise all the rights,
powers and privileges granted by said mentioned act.
