upon any private premises and into any building in the
Town.

125. (Liens) All charges or expenses incurred under
the direction of the Manager or for the sewer and/or
water rate charges shall be due and payable, shall be over-
due and in arrears, shall bear interest at the same rate,
shall be and constitute a lien upon the real property to
which such sewer or water system is connected and shall
be collectible in the same manner as Town taxes.

126. (Revenues) The yearly revenue and receipts of
the Sewer and Water Department shall be kept separate
and apart from the other funds of said Town, and the
same shall be expended in the following order:

(a) To pay the yearly operating expenses of said system.

(b) To pay the interest on and the redemption of all
sewer and water bonds which may fall due in such year.

(c) To annually place a reasonable amount for depre-
ciation to said system into a depreciation reserve.

(d) To pay for extensions or capital improvements to
said system incurred during such year.

(e) To retain any balance in a reserve for emergency
repairs to said system.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all ordinances,
resolutions, rules and regulations in effect in the. Town
at the time this Act is adopted, and not in conflict with
the provisions of this Act, shall remain in effect until
amended, altered or repealed according to the terms of
this Act.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all right, title,
and interest held by the Town Commissioners at the time
this Act becomes effective, in and to any lien acquired
under any prior Charter of the Town, are hereby pre-
served for holder in all respects as if this Act had not
been adopted, together with all rights and remedies in
relation thereto.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this
Act shall be construed as changing or interrupting the
tenure of the Town Commissioners holding such office at
the time this Act takes effect.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
