sub-title "Bridges", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

(Senate Bill 174)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 230, 231 and 232 of Article 9
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-title "Roads and
Bridges, " Section 232 thereof having been amended by
Chapter 411 of the Acts of 1933; to enact a new Section
230, said new section to be added to said Article and
sub-title and to stand in the place and stead of the sec-
tions so repealed, providing for the abolition of the of-
fice of the present Roads Commissioner of Charles
County, establishing said office as a function of the
County Commissioners of Charles County ex officio and
repealing obsolete laws relating to roads and bridges in
Charles County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 230, 231 and 232 of Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County, " sub-title "Roads and Bridges, " Section
232 thereof having been amended by Chapter 411 of the
Acts of 1933, be and they are hereby repealed and that
a new Section 230 be and it is hereby added to said Article
and sub-title and to stand in the place and stead of the
sections so repealed and to read as follows:

230. On June 1, 1951, the Board of Road Commissioners
of Charles County shall immediately relinquish their of-
fices and deliver to the County Commissioners their files
and office equipment, and all machinery and material which
may be in the Board's custody or control. Thereafter the
County Commissioners shall assume all the duties of the
