WILLIAM GRASON, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

1839.

of the goods and chattels, lands and tenements of a cer-
tain Joshua Todd, sell unto one Henry Bussard, all the
right, title, interest and estate of said Joshua Todd, of, in
and to all that part of the lands and tenements conveyed
to the said Todd by a deed from Henry Wayman and
Richard Ridgely,bearing date the twenty-fifth day of June,
in the year eighteen hundred and sixteen, and by a deed
from Alexander Todd, senior, bearing dale the sixth day of
December, in the year seventeen hundred and ninety-seven,
which was situate in Frederick county, prior to the erection
of Carroll county; and whereas, it has been further shewn,
that the purchase money therefor, has been paid by the
said Henry Bussard; and further, that the said Peter Bren-
gle hath since departed this life without having made a
deed of conveyance to the said Henry Bussard, of all the
right, tille,interest and estate of the said Joshua Todd, of
in and to the above described parcel of land sold as afore-
said—Therefore,

CHAP. 167.



SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Francis Brengle, administrator of the said
Peter Brengle, be and he is hereby authorised and empow-
ered to make and execute to the said Henry Bussard, a
deed of conveyance of all the right, title, interest and es-
tate of the said Joshua Todd, of, in and to the said part of
the said lands and tenements in the preamble of this act
described, to him the said Henry Bussard and his heirs for-
ever.

To execute a
deed, &c.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the right, title, inter-
est and estate of the said Joshua Todd, of, in and to the
said part of the said lands and tenements described in the
preamble of this act, shall by the said deed of conveyance
so to be made as aforesaid, be vested in the said Henry
Bussard and his heirs forever, as fully as if a deed of con-
veyance therefor had been made by the said Peter Brengle,
in his life time, in pursuance of the sale aforesaid.

CHAPTER 167.

Right and title
to vest in H. B.

An act for the benefit of William Freaner and Richard
Sheckles, of Washington County.

Passed Feb. 25,
1840.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the clerk of Washington county, be and he is here-
by authorised and directed to pay over to William Freaner
