CHAPTER 288.

1839.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of Charlestown,
in Cecil County, to convey to Robert Thompson, a lot
or parcel of land in the town aforesaid.

Authority granted.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Charlestown are hereby
authorized to convey, in fee simple, to Robert Thomp-
son, all that lot or parcel of land designated as lot
adjoining number eighty-two, heretofore contracted to
be sold by the said commissioners to the said Robert
Thompson.

in this State, may in their discretion on application of

est, or confide to the said Baltimore Life Insurance
