1838.

supplements thereto, as authorizes the charge of pilot-
age on such vessels outward bound, sailing under
coasting license, as are of the burthen of seventy-five
tons and upwards (except in cases when a pilot or pi-
lots shall be especially employed to conduct to sea a
vessel or vessels of the before mentioned description, )
be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAP. 287.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That all acts and parts of A.
acts, inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be,
and the same are hereby repealed.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted. That this act shall be and it
continue in force, from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 287.

In force.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act for the benefit
and relief of the citizens of Worcester County, and
all persons concerned in the records thereof, which
may have been destroyed by the burning of the court
house of said county, passed at December session
eighteen hundred and thirty-five, chapter two hundred
and seventy-nine.

Passed Mar. 9,
1839.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, it shall
not be incumbent on any plaintiff or defendant, in
any suit now pending, or hereafter to be brought,
to produce the original judgment, or the record thereof,
to entitle such plaintiff or defendant to produce in evi-
dence any fieri facias, or capias ad satisfaciendum,
issued by the clerk of Worcester county court, but such,
party may produce such fieri facias, or capias ad satis-
faciendum, or an authenticated copy, or record thereof,
and the same shall be legal and competent evidence,

ment so recited; provided nevertheless, that this law
shall not extend to any judgment rendered since the
first day of January, eighteen hundred and thirty-five.
