CHAP. 20.

of Cecil county, to publish the act passed at December
session eighteen hundred and forty-two, chapter two hun-
dred and sixty-five, entitled " an act to amend the act of
December session eighteen hundred and forty, chapter
two hundred and twenty-three, " in all the newspapers pub-
lished in said county, for the space of three weeks, between
the first day of May and the last day of July, in each and
every year.

To be paid
out of school
fund.

Sec. 2. And he it enacted, That the costs of said act-
vertizements, shall be paid out of the school funds of Cecil
county.

CHAPTER 19.
|

An act to allow Samuel S. Robinson, late sheriff of Queen
Ann's County, further time to complete his collections.
|
Allowed to
collect.
|
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Samuel S. Robinson, late sheriff of Queen
Ann's county, be and he is hereby authorized and em-
powered by himself or any person or persons he may
appoint and depute for the purpose, to collect all fees, sums
of money and balances which may be due and owing to
him as sheriff, for the several years in which he was sheriff
of said county, in the same manner he could or might have
done, within the time limited by law.

Make affidavit
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That before he proceeds to
collect under and by virtue of this act, he shall make out
and deliver to the person or persons from whom the same
may be demanded, an account of the fees, sums of money,
or balances due from such person or persons, and if requi-
red by the party, annex thereto an affidavit, that the same is
due and unpaid.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the authority hereby
given, shall continue until the first day of June, in the year
eighteen hundred and forty-five, and no longer.
