An act to allow William Ireland, late Collector of Calvert
County, further time to complete his collections.

Passed Feb. 25,
1841.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That William Ireland, late collector of Calvert county, be
and he is hereby allowed until the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and forty-two, to complete his collections.

CHAPTER 131.

Time extended.

An act concerning the Franklin Rail Road.

Passed Feb. 26,
1841.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Washington county in this state,
be and they are hereby authorised and empowered to sub-
scribe for stock in the Franklin Railroad company, to an
amount not exceeding three thousand dollars, for the use of
said county, if in their discretion they shall deem the same
expedient, right and proper, and to provide the ways and
means by a tax upon me assessable property of said county,
for the payment of the stock so subscribed, in three equal
annual instalments.

CHAPTER 132.

Commissioners
of Washington
co. authorised
to subscribe for
stock.

An act supplemental to an act, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, chapter two hundred
and eighty-four, to open a certain road in St. Mary's

County.

Passed Feb. 24,
1841.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the person or persons through whose lands the public
road authorised by the act to which this is a supplement,
passes, shall be and are hereby fully authorised, to erect
