That William Ireland, late collector of Calvert county, be
and he is hereby allowed until the first day of January,
eighteen hundred and forty-two, to complete his collections.

An act concerning the Franklin Rail Road.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Washington county in this state,
be and they are hereby authorised and empowered to sub-
scribe for stock in the Franklin Railroad company, to an
amount not exceeding three thousand dollars, for the use of
said county, if in their discretion they shall deem the same
expedient, right and proper, and to provide the ways and
means by a tax upon me assessable property of said county,
for the payment of the stock so subscribed, in three equal
annual instalments.
