as amended by Chapter 47 of the Acts of the Special Ses-
sion of 1947 and Chapter 42 of the Acts of the Special
Session of 1948.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the State Roads Com-
mission, as long as there are outstanding any State High-
way Construction Bonds issued for the purposes of paying
in whole or in part the cost of the construction of the
bridge authorized in this Act or if no such bond were
issued for a period of fifteen, (15) years from the date of
the completion of the said bridge, is authorized to fix,
revise, charge and collect reasonable tolls for the use of
said bridge and to contract with any person, partnership,
association or corporation desiring the use of any part
thereof for placing thereupon telephone, telegraph, electric
lines or power lines, or for any other purpose, and to fix
the terms, conditions, rents and rates of charges for such
use. The tolls and other revenues derived from the said
bridge, except such part thereof as may be necessary to
pay the cost of maintenance, repair and operation thereof,
shall be used for the payment of the interest and principal
of any bonds issued by virtue of this Act, and if none shall
be so issued, shall be credited to the and become a part
of the Construction Fund provided in paragraph (e) of
Section 11 of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1947 Supp. )

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

(House Bill 114)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
57A of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Cambridge",
as said section was enacted by Chapter 256 of the Acts of
1935, providing for an increase in the annual salary of the
Mayor.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,, That Section 57A of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County", sub-title
