north along the Frederick Pike for about one hundred
yards to the first county road to the left; thence along said
county road to its terminus at the point where said road
intersects the road connecting the Darnestown Pike and
the Frederick Pike, known as and called the "Shady Grove
Road"; thence in an easterly direction along the former
boundary between the Fourth and Ninth Election Districts
to the aforesaid bridge over Mill Branch, the place of
beginning.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Chapter 658 of
the Acts of 1941 be and it is hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 936.
(Senate Bill 577)
AN ACT to authorize and direct the State Roads Com-
mission to construct and maintain a new bridge over
Stony Creek in Anne Arundel County.
WHEREAS, the present bridge over Stony Creek in Anne
Arundel County is used by many workers in war industries
and it is in bad condition and should be replaced by a
modern structure; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the State Roads Commission be and it is hereby au-
thorized and directed to construct and maintain a new
bridge over Stony Creek in Anne Arundel County, one-half
of the cost of said bridge to be borne by the State and one-
quarter each by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
and the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County,
the shares of the cost to be borne by said City and said
County to be payable by the State Roads Commission out of
the funds allocated respectively to said City and said
County from the "One and One-half Cent Lateral Road
Gasoline Tax Fund. "
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
