CHAPTER 50.
(Senate Bill 26)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 26, 27 and 38 of Article
95 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Treasurer", said sections relating to old funded debts and
sinking funds of the State which are no longer applicable.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 26, 27 and 38 of Article 95 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Treasurer", be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 51.
(Senate Bill 31)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 183
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-head-
ing '"Fees of Operators", relating to the license fees for
chauffeurs.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 183 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-heading "Fees of Operators", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
183. The following fees shall be paid the Commissioner of
Motor Vehicles for licenses to operate motor vehicles in this
State. Two dollars ($2. 00) to operate motor vehicles other
than motorcycles; one dollar ($1. 00) to operate motorcycles
and bicycles with motor attachments. Such license shall be
good until suspended or revoked as hereinafter provided, and
shall not be required to be renewed annually. Provided, how-
ever, that the foregoing provisions of this section shall not
apply to chauffeurs, but the latter shall be required to obtain
an operator's license, as hereinbefore provided, renewable at
the end of two years from the date of issue, and shall pay
therefor the sum of three dollars ($3. 00).
