CHAPTER 48.
(Senate Bill 23)

AN ACT to repeal Article 86 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Sheep and Dogs".

WHEREAS, Sections 324-331 of Article 56 of the Code cover
the same subject; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 86 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Sheep and Dogs", be and it is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

Approved April 15, 1941.

CHAPTER 49.
(Senate Bill 24)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 25 to 28 of Article 88A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "State
Department of Public Welfare", sub-title "Burial of
Soldiers and Sailors", said sections relating to the burial of
the soldiers, sailors and marines who served in the War of
1861-1865.

WHEREAS, these provisions are no longer necessary or appli-
cable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 25 to 28 of Article 88A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "State Department of
Public Welfare", sub-title "Burial of Soldiers and Sailors", be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.
