WHEREAS, sufficient data are not available to indicate this
or the cost of constructing such a bridge; therefore, be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
State Roads Commission be and it is hereby authorized and
directed to conduct a traffic survey, and such other investiga-
tions as it may deem desirable and make borings if deemed
desirable, in order to determine the need for such a bridge,
and to submit a report to the next General Assembly with
its findings and recommendations as to the cost and feasibility
of such a bridge.

(House Joint Resolution 16)
Joint Resolution repealing Joint Resolution No. 12, approved
May 18, 1937, setting aside certain land and water areas
at the head of the Chesapeake Bay for the wintering, resting
and feeding of wild water fowl.
WHEREAS, by resolution passed by the General Assembly of
Maryland at its January Session in 1937, the President of the
United States was requested, by proclamation, to set aside
the areas included within the Aberdeen Proving Ground,
Edgewood Arsenal and Fort Hoyle as wintering, resting and
feeding grounds for migratory wild water fowl; and
WHEREAS, no arrangements for such setting aside have been
concluded and the Presidential proclamation referred to in
said resolution has not been made; and
WHEREAS, experience gained since the passage of such reso-
lution shows that such setting aside would be unwise and
contrary to the interest of the State; therefore, be it
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That Joint
Resolution No. 12, approved May 18, 1937, be and it is hereby
repealed.
