and sell at the tenant's expense any and all tobacco grown on
the premises by said tenant in the previous year or years,
provided, that as to Charles County, the above provisions shall
not apply until after the first day of August, and as to St.
Mary's County the first day of July in each year. Any and
all expenses paid by the landlord in the stripping, packing,
shipment or sale shall be a first and prior lien on said tobacco
and the proceeds thereof, notwithstanding any agreement or
obligation of the tenant or provision of law to the contrary.

A tenant, or any one acting on his behalf, interfering in
any way whatsoever, directly or indirectly, with the stripping,
packing, shipment or sale of said tobacco by the landlord,
is guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punished, upon con-
viction, by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100)
or by imprisonment for not less than ninety (90) days nor
more than six months, or both.

SEC. 2. And lie it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 739.
(House Bill 363)

AN ACT to incorporate Cresaptown in Allegany County,
Maryland, and to provide for a referendum thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That the citizens of the town of Cresaptown, in Allegany
County, Maryland, are hereby constituted and made a body
corporate by the name of the Mayor and Commissioners of
Cresaptown, with all of the privileges of a body corporate, and
by that name may sue and be sued, may have and use a com-
mon seal and have perpetual succession.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the corporate limits
of the said town shall be as follows: Beginning at a point in
the center of the North edge of the concrete bridge, where the
McMullen Highway (U. S. No. 220) crosses Warrior Run, and
running thence with the Northerly meanders of said run and
crossing the run to the South side, in an Easterly direction, to
a concrete monument, set as a corner of the Celanese Corpo-
ration of America, said Monument standing on the South
bank of Warrior Bun and running thence with the Southerly
property lines of said Celanese Corporation, S. 75 degrees E.
