Commissioners of Cambridge, shall stamp upon said deed
his certificate thereof, and no deed shall be received for
record without said certificate or certificates. At the time
of submitting the deed to the Clerk to the County Com-
missioners, or if the land be in -the City of Cambridge, to
the Clerk to the Commissioners of Cambridge, the person
or persons offering the same shall furnish said clerk or
clerks, with a statement of the buildings, if any, upon the
land conveyed by said deed. The Clerk of the Circuit Court
shall not record or accept for record any deed without the
certificate of the Clerk to the Commissioners of Dorchester
County and, if said property is in the corporate limits of
the City of Cambridge, a certificate from the Clerk to the
Commissioners of Cambridge, as prescribed by Section
203. If the Clerk of the Circuit Court shall receive for
record any deed in violation of the provisions of this sec-
tion, he shall be subject to a penalty of twenty-five
($25. 00) dollars for each deed so recorded. All Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 447.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of
Laurel to levy an additional tax of not exceeding 20$ on
each $100. 00 of assessable property in said town for the
purpose of garbage collection, giving them full authority
to establish a garbage system in said town and providing
that this Act shall not go into effect until it is submitted
to the qualified voters of said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Laurel shall
have power to levy a tax of not exceeding 20$ on each
$100. 00 of assessable property in said town for the pur-
pose of establishing a system of garbage collection therein,
including the purchase or lease of a dump, if necessary,
either within or without the limits of said town, the pur-
chase of trucks or other equipment, the employment of in-
spectors, laborers, etc., the purchase or construction of in-
cinerators or garbage disposal plants, or the use of any
other methods for the disposal of garbage, which may to
