the said Mayor and City Council seem proper and
desirable.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That before levying
said tax of 20$ or any part thereof, in any year, the said
Mayor and City Council shall determine upon a plan of
garbage collection for the succeeding year, and shall levy
only so much of said tax as may be necessary for the pur-
pose of such plan; and said tax when levied shall be col-
lected as are other taxes levied by said town, and the pro-
ceeds thereof shall be used solely for the purposes provided
herein.

SEC 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
not go into effect unless the same shall be approved by a
majority of the votes cast as hereinafter provided at the
election for Mayor and Members of the City Council held
on the 3rd Monday in April, 1936, at which election the
question of the approval hereof shall be submitted by the
placing upon the ballots, to be used therein, of the words
"For Garbage Collection Tax, " with a square at the right
thereof, and "Against Garbage Collection Tax, " with a
square at the right thereof. If at the said election a
majority of those voting on this proposition shall be "For
Garbage Collection Tax, " then and in that event this Act
shall have full force and effect; if at said election, such
majority shall be "Against Garbage Collection Tax, " then
and in that event this Act shall be null and void.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 448.

AN ACT to add two new sub-sections to Section 7 of Arti-
cle 66B of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland
(1929 Supplement), and headed "Zoning, " sub-titled
"Board of Zoning Appeals, " the one to be numbered
Sub-section 4, the other to be added and unnumbered
at the end of said Section 7, authorizing the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore and the legislative bodies of
cities and incorporated towns of the State containing
more than ten thousand inhabitants to approve build-
