CHAPTER 445.
AN ACT, to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
199 of Article 24 of Flack's Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County, " sub-
title "Pocomoke City, " providing for a registration of the
qualified voters in Pocomoke City.

CHAPTER 446.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
203 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County, "
providing that taxes be paid before deeds transferring
property shall be transferred on the assessment books
or be recorded.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 203 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County, " be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
203. Before any deed for conveyance of real estate in
Dorchester County, shall be received for record by the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Dorchester County, the per-
son offering said deed for record shall submit the same to
the Clerk of the County Commissioners of said county, and
if the property conveyed in the said conveyance shall be
situated within the corporate limits of the City of Cam-
bridge, in said county, then, in addition to submitting it to
the Clerk to the County Commissioners, such deed or con-
veyance shall also be submitted to the Clerk to the
Commissioners of Cambridge, who shall thereupon
make a transfer on the county assessment books, and if
the said property is in the City of Cambridge, also a trans-
fer upon the assessment books of the said city of the said
property, to the name of the new owner or owners thereof.
Before such property shall be transferred on the said as-
sessment books, all public taxes, assessments and charges
for the current year and all prior years shall have been
paid, and as evidence of said transfer, the Clerk to the
Commissioners of Dorchester County, and in case the
property is in the City of Cambridge, also the Clerk to the
