new section to be known as Section 253 and to follow
immediately after Section 252 of said Article, relating
to insolvent volunteer firemen's associations and in-
corporated volunteer fire companies.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 8 of the Code of Public Local L#ws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County, " sub-title "Fire
Department, " said new section to be known as Section 253,
to follow immediately after Section 252 of said Article, and
to read as follows:

253. If any incorporated volunteer fire company or
volunteer firemen's association, whose principal office is lo-
cated in Baltimore County, and which has received contribu-
tions in money or equipment from the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County, become insolvent, or if such
company or such association discontinue the activities for
which it was incorporated or organized, the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore County shall be authorized to ap-
ply to the Circuit Court for Baltimore County for the ap-
pointment of a receiver of the estate and assets of such
company or such association, and for the dissolution of
such company or association. The receiver so appointed
shall administer the estate and assets under the direction
of the Court, and after payment to its creditors of the full
amount of their claims, shall turn over the balance of the
estate and assets, if any, to the County Commissioners of
Baltimore County, to be used for their corporate pur-
poses.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 438.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
13 and 15 of Chapter 634 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland for the year 1927, incorporating
"Amish Mennonite Children's Home Association, Inc., re-
lating to the membership and the time of meeting of the
Trustees of said Corporation..
