SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
to Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Carroll County, " sub-title "Revenue
and Taxes, " said new section to be known as Section 322A,
to follow immediately after Section 322 of said Article, and
to read as follows:

322A. The Collector of Taxes of Carroll County is au-
thorized and directed to cause a coupon to be attached to
the tax bill of each tax payer of said County, who pays a
tax on motor vehicles or vehicles. Upon payment of the
tax due on said motor vehicle or vehicles, said Collector
shall indicate the fact and date of such payment by caus-
ing coupon to be perforated to that effect and shall return
said perforated coupon to the taxpayer. The taxpayer
shall be entitled to send said perforated coupon to the Com-
missioner of Motor Vehicles with the application for reg-
istration, and said Commissioner is authorized and direct-
ed to accept said perforated coupon as evidence that the
State and County taxes, due on the motor vehicle sought to
be registered, have been paid.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 420.

AN ACT to authorize the Board of Education of Prince
George's County and the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County to issue serial bonds of said county to
the amount of not more than one hundred sixty-five
thousand dollars ($165, 000. 00), for the purpose of
acquiring sites for certain new school houses and for
building certain new school houses in said county, and for
building additions to or making alterations to existing
school houses therein, and for equipping such new or
improved school houses, said bonds to be issued from
time to time in the joint discretion of said boards; and
to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County to levy such tax on the assessable
basis of said county as may be necessary to pay the inter-
est on such of said bonds as may be outstanding from
