vided the original design of piping or fixtures is not
changed.
406J. A minimum permit and inspection fee of $5. 00
shall be made for a permit to connect any building or
premises with a sanitary sewer, storm drain or combined
sewer or a septic tank and shall include the installation of
plumbing fixtures not exceeding five (5) in number. In
addition to the minimum fee, an extra or additional fee
of twenty-five cents shall be made on each and every fixture
exceeding five (5) in number. After any building or prem-
ises is connected with the sanitary sewer, drain or com-
bined sewer and application is made for a permit to do
additional plumbing work or install additional fixtures for
which a permit is required under these regulations, a mini-
mum permit and inspection fee of One Dollar shall be
charged for the plumbing work and the installation of not
more than one plumbing fixture, with a further additional
fee of twenty-five cents for each and every plumbing fix-
ture installed. A fee of $1. 50 shall be charged for a sewer
connection and a complete inspection of the house (other
than complete installation). If additional fixtures are in-
stalled, the above schedule shall be charged.
406K. All plumbing, water supply, sewerage and drain-
age work on private property shall be subject to the inspec-
tion and approval of the Commission, nor may any septic
tank be installed without its approval as to location. No
work shall be covered over until it has been inspected and
approved by a duly authorized agent of the Commission.
Improper workmanship shall be remedied and unsatisfac-
tory material shall be replaced at the expense of the
plumber as ordered by said Commission. When this work
has been done the work shall be again inspected before be-
ing covered at the expense of the plumber. The master
plumber shall notify the Commission at least one day in
advance when his work is ready for the inspection. A
charge will be made for every additional inspection made
necessary on account of work condemned or not in condi-
tion for inspection, the same to be paid by the plumber.
It shall be the duty of the inspector to inspect old houses to
see that unvented fixtures must be vented and plumbing
put in first class condition before connecting to sewer.
406L. It shall be unlawful for any plumber to contract
to connect any house or building to a sewer without making
provision for putting the plumbing in a safe and sanitary
