of any wrong doing, misconduct, want of care or skill,
negligence or default on the part of said plumber, his
agents or employees, in or about the execution or perform-
ance of such plumbing or other work as is contained in
this sub-title. The liability of the surety or sureties on any
bond given under this Section shall not extend to defects in
material and workmanship discovered more than twelve
(12) months after the completion of the work.

406G. Every person, and at least one member of every
firm and/or officer of every corporation contracting to do
work covered under this sub-title shall be a registered and
licensed master plumber.

406H. Plumbery will be held responsible for the vio-
lation of this sub-title and of the Commission's rules and
regulations, either by themselves or their employees. In
case of such violation, the license of the plumber may be
revoked, in addition to the imposition of such other pen-
alty as may be provided for by law. Any license so re-
voked may be reissued if the Commission shall so decide,
but the same shall be done under the terms and conditions
obtaining with respect to new licenses. Permits may be
withheld at any time, from any plumber who violates the
rules and regulations of the Commission, who performs
generally unsatisfactory work, or who refuses to remedy
defective work, or to discharge any other indebtedness to
the Commission. Bad faith or other unreasonable delays
in the performance of work or the failure promptly to re-
spond, to official communications shall be deemed a suffi-
cient reason for withholding permits.

406-1. No water, sewer or drain connections shall be
constructed, no new plumbing shall be installed, nor shall
existing plumbing be added to altered or repaired without
a permit from said Plumbing Commission. All applica-
tions to do plumbing work shall be filed at the office of the
Commission before the work is started and shall be accom-
panied by a fee to coyer the costs of issuing a permit and
to cover the costs of inspection of the work. The amount
of said fee shall be prescribed by said Commission and
shall be determined upon as hereinafter specified. Each
application shall be signed by a Master Plumber. In case
the plumber who signs the application does not do the work
covered by it, notification shall be given and said applica-
tion approved by the Commission before the work is
started. A permit will not be required to repair leaks, pro-
