CHAPTER 401.

AN ACT authorizing and directing the Board of Public
Works to pay annually to The Mayor and Aldermen of
the City of Annapolis the sum of $2, 500 out of any funds
appropriated fer the use of the Board of Public Works.

CHAPTER 402.

AN ACT to add fifteen new sections to Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County, " to be under sub-title "Plumb-
ing, " to be known as Sections 406A to 406-0, inclusive,
and to follow immediately after Section 406 of said Arti-
cle, creating a Plumbing Commission for Anne Arundel
County and prescribing its powers and duties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That fifteen new sections be and they are here-
by added to Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, "
to be under sub-title "Plumbing, " to be known as Sections
406A to 406-0, inclusive, and to follow immediately after
406 of said Article, and to read as follows:

406A. There is hereby created and established a
Plumbing Commission for Anne Arundel County, to be
composed of the County Health Officer for Anne Arundel
County, the Chief Engineer of the Anne Arundel County
Sanitary Commission and a Master Plumber to be ap-
pointed by the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County from two names submitted to said Commissioners
by the Anne Arundel County Master Plumbers Associa-
tion. The term of the member appointed by the County
Commissioners shall be for five years and he shall con-
tinue to serve until his successor is appointed and qualified.
The members of said Plumbing Commission shall respec-
tively take and subscribe the oath required by other State
officers and shall have the power to elect out of their
number a President, Secretary and Treasurer, and to adopt
such rules and by-laws for the transaction of business of
the Plumbing Commission as they may deem expedient.
The members of said Plumbing Commission shall serve
