the lands now or formerly owned by John and Rachel
Keiley (Liber S. D. H. 332, Folio 113); Sam and—Buckley
(Liber 47-Folio 325); Charles E., Harry W., James E. and
Mary E. McNamee; and the University of Maryland
(Maryland Agricultural College, Liber C. S. M. 2-Folio
294); near College Park, Prince George's County, Mary-
land, and running thence by and with the line between
McNamee and Engel on the one side and University of
Maryland on the other side, S40°47/04"W., 1345. 80 feet
(being part of the N. 44° E. 262 20/25 perches line of Mary-
land Agricultural College, Liber C. S. M. 2-Folio 294),
thence S0°30'00" E., 376. 60 feet; thence N. 89°30'00" E.,
970. 0 feet; thence N. 0°30'00"W., 1348. 33' to the line be-
tween the University of Maryland the Keiley tract herein-
before mentioned; thence by and with the University of
Maryland-Keiley line N. 64°45'24" W., 91. 07 feet to the
point of beginning and containing 20. 56 acres of land, more
or less, the said tract of land being shown in detail upon a
map to accompany and be made part of the deed convey-
ing the said tract.

The said Governor of the State of Maryland is further
authorized and empowered for and on behalf of the State
of Maryland to grant to the United States of America for
purposes of ingress or egress, a right of way not more
than twenty (20) feet wide running from said tract in a
southerly direction across the land now held for the use
of the University of Maryland to meet the Cold Spring
Road.

The instrument whereby said property and right of way
is granted and conveyed unto the United States of Amer-
ica shall provide that the land in question shall be used for
the construction of an experiment station by the United
States Bureau of Mines as authorized by Act of the Con-
gress approved March 1, 1931 (46 Statutes 1518). Said
deed shall be executed by the Governor of the State of
Maryland for and on behalf of the State of Maryland,
attested by the Secretary of State of the State of Mary-
land, and the Secretary of State of the State of Maryland
shall attach the Great Seal of the State of Maryland thereto.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1st, 1935.
