CHAPTER 314.

AN ACT to add twenty-four new sections to Article 12 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, Edition of
1930, title "Garrett County, " sub-title 'Liquor and Intox-
icating Drinks, ' said new sections to follow immediately
after Section 337A and to be known as Sections 337A,
337B, 337C, 337D, 337E, 337F, 337G, 337H, 3371, 337J,
337K, 337L, 337M, 337N, 3370, 337P, 337Q, 337R, 337S,
337T, 337U, 337V, 337W, and 337X to regulate the sale
and distribution of beer in Garrett County; to require a
license for the sale and distribution of said beer; to pro-
vide the manner and terms of the issuance thereof, and
the determination of objections to the granting of such
license, and the revocation thereof; to authorize any city
or incorporated town to impose additional regulations
or restrictions upon the sale of beer; to provide penal-
ties for the violation of this Act; and to repeal all pub-
lic general and public local laws inconsistent with the
provisions of this Act to the extent of such inconsistency
or conflict and to provide for referendum thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That twenty-four new sections be and the same
are hereby added to Article 12 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, Edition of 1930, title "Garrett County, "
sub-title 'Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks, ' said new sec-
tions to follow immediately after Section 337A, and to
be known as Sections 337A, 337B, 337C, 337D, 337E, 337F,
337G, 337H, 3371, 337J, 337K, 337L, 337M, 337N, 3370,
337P, 337Q, 337R, 337S, 337T, 337U, 337V, 337W, and
337X and to read as follows:

337A. No person shall hereafter sell, offer for sale or
keep for sale in Garrett County any beer as defined in Ar-
ticle 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland without hav-
ing previously obtained a license therefor as hereinafter
provided.

All licenses issued hereunder for the sale of beer shall
be issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Garrett
County under all the provisions of this Act or any amend-
1 ments thereto.

There shall be two classes of licenses, for the sale of beer
which shall be, issued in the manner, authorize the doing
of things and be subject to the conditions and restrictions
hereinafter set forth, and shall be issued by the Clerk of
the Circuit Court upon the payment of the costs as here-
