bonds and for the payment of the principal thereof, as the
same shall fall due and become payable. The bonds author-
ized to be issued under this Act shall be serial bonds and a
certain number of said bonds shall fall due and become
payable at stated periods, at which times they shall be paid
off and redeemed, in the manner provided by ordinance or
ordinances of The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick;
provided that the bonds authorized to be issued under this
Act shall not extend over a period of more than fifteen
years from the date of the issuance of said bonds. The
sinking funds of any bonds of said municipal corporation
may be invested in the bonds hereby authorized to be issued.
Said bonds when issued shall be known as "Floating Debt
Bonds of the Corporation of Frederick." The entire faith
and credit of The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick is
hereby authorized to be pledged for the payment of the
interest on said bonds and for the payment of the principal
thereof, as the same shall fall due and become payable.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 9.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sections
691, 692 and 694 of Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Mont-
gomery County," sub-title "Police," as said sections were
amended by Chapter 375 of the Acts of 1931, relating to
the Montgomery County Police, providing for continuing
in service certain members of said County Police, as of
January 1st, 1935, increasing the number authorized to
thirty (30) and requiring the number to be not less than
twenty-four (24), providing for the appointment and
removal of members of said County Police in accordance
with the provisions of Article 64A of the Code of Public
General Laws and authorizing and directing the Com-
missioner of State Employment and Registration to
