WHEREAS, It seems appropriate and fitting that the Gen-
eral Assembly should make proper recognition of this atti-
tude on the part of these Judges and other public officers;
therefore be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Judges

Carroll T. Bond,

William H. Adkins,

James M. Crockett,

Robert F. Duer,

Eli Frank,

Thomas J. Keating,

J. Owen Knotts,

Joseph N. Ulman,

Hammond Urner,

Arthur D. Willard,

Charles W. Woodward,

be and they are hereby commended for their attitude in
voluntarily reducing their own salaries in accordance with
the policy of the State in reducing the salaries of other
State officials; and be it further

Resolved, That all other public officers of the State,
elected or appointed for definite terms and entitled to sala-
ries or compensation fixed by statute, and who, notwith-
standing the protection afforded by the Constitution, sub-
mitted to a reduction of such salaries or compensation dur-
ing the two-year period 1933-1935, be and they are hereby
likewise commended for their attitude in supporting the
policy of the State to reduce its expenses during said period.
