Resolved, That the Representatives from the State of
Maryland in the Senate and House of Representatives of
the United States be and they are hereby requested to urge
upon the said United States Biological Survey the import-
ance of this matter; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of the State of Maryland
be and he is hereby requested to transmit under the Great
Seal of this State a copy of the aforegoing Resolution to
the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture of the
United States, and to the United States Biological Survey.

A Joint Resolution authorizing and directing the State
Librarian to furnish the Department of Legislative Ref-
erence copies of the 1935 Supplement to the Annotated
Code of Maryland.

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Department of Legisla-
tive Reference to keep its collection of the codes and laws
of the other States up to date, if it is to be of the greatest
service to the members of the General Assembly and to the
State officials; and

WHEREAS, the Department has very limited funds with
which to buy books and other equipment; and

WHEREAS, the Budget Bill contains an appropriation for
the purchase of the 1935 Supplement to the Annotated
Code of Maryland; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Legislative Reference can
use copies of this volume for exchange with similar depart-
ments in other States for their code or supplements there-
to; therefore, be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the State Librarian be and she is hereby requested and
directed to place at the disposal of the Director of the De-
partment of Legislative Reference, fifty copies of the 1935
Supplement to the Annotated Code of Maryland, for the
