saries, " said new section to be known as Section 48AA
and to follow immediately after Section 48A of said Arti-
cle, relating to the licenses for certain restaurants located
in the Fourth, Eighth and Tenth Election Districts of
Montgomery County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Alco-
holic Beverages, " as enacted by Chapter 2 of the Acts of
the Extraordinary Session of 1933, to be under sub-title
"County Dispensaries, " said new section to be known, as
Section 48AA, to follow immediately after Section 48A of
said Article, and to read as follows:

48AA. In Montgomery County the owner of any res-
taurant which is located in the Fourth, Eighth and Tenth
Election Districts of said County and was doing business
in 1982, and which had a seating capacity of thirty chairs
and a capital investment of thirty thousand ($30, 000. 00)
dollars or more in 1932, shall be entitled to procure a license
for the sale of any and all alcoholic beverages upon payment
of a license fee of seven hundred and fif ty ($750. 00) dollars
to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said County. Any such
restaurant obtaining such license shall purchase and/or pro-
cure its alcoholic beverages from the Montgomery County
Dispensary only, and any such restaurant selling or offering
for sale any alcoholic beverages not purchased and/or pro-
cured shall be deemed to have forfeited its license.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts, or
parts of Acts, inconsistent with this Act, be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.
