shall be a misdemeanor, to be prosecuted as in the case of
other misdemeanors.

The Commission shall submit a detailed report with find-
ings and all facts, pertinent to the subjects of the survey,
with recommendations to the Governor, and to the General
Assembly, at the next regular session of the General As-
sembly, and at any special session of the General Assembly,
if the commission shall have concluded its findings, and in
submitting any report and recommendations to the Gov-
ernor and to the General Assembly, the Commission shall
submit a draft of such acts as may be proposed to carry
out its recommendations.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1st, 1935, and shall terminate on Sep-
tember 30th, 1937.

CHAPTER 565.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
304 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1924 Edition), title "Health, " sub-title "Undertakers, "
relating to punishment of embalmers and undertakers for
violating provisions of the Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 304 of Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Health, " sub-
title "Undertakers, " be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

304. Any person, persons, co-partnership or corpora-
tion who shall engage in or hold himself, herself, them-
selves, or itself out as engaging in the business of Under-
taking or discharge the duties of such employment as shall
engage him or her in the care, preparation for burial,
and burial or shipment, of dead human bodies and the dis-
infection of the clothing and bedding of such deceased
person who shall have died from an infectious or con-
tagious disease, or the premises in which he or she shall
have died without having complied with the provisions of
Sections 296 and 297 of this^ Article and any superin-
tendent or person in charge ( in the absence of the super-
