intendent) of any cemetery or burial place, who shall per-
mit any other person than a duly licensed Undertaker,
under Sections 296 and 297 of this Act, to deliver for
burial or offer for cremation the body of a deceased
person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con-
viction thereof before any court of competent jurisdiction,
shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars, or sen-
tenced to undergo an imprisonment for a term not ex-
ceeding one year or both in the discretion of the court for
each and every offense. Any person or persons who shall
practice or hold himself, or themselves out as embalmers
in this State, without having complied with the provisions
of this sub-title shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof before any Court in this State
shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than fifty nor
more than five hundred dollars, or undergo an imprison-
ment not exceeding one year, or both at the discretion of
the Court, for each and every offense; provided that noth-
ing contained in this sub-title shall be construed to
apply to bona fide employees of a duly licensed embalmer,
or undertaker, who are serving their apprenticeship, or the
employee of any cemetery whose duty extends no further,
or any school of anatomy, medicine or dentistry, or to in-
terfere with any officer or employee of the United States
or the District of Columbia in the discharge of their official
duties.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 566.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
144A of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, " sub-
title "Dogs, " as enacted by Chapter 414 of the Acts of
1933, decreasing the amount of dog licenses for female
dogs, and to add a new section to said Article, said new
section to be known as Section 144BB to follow imme-
diately after Section 144B of said Article, authorizing
the special officers or constables employed by the County
Commissioners of Frederick County, to enter, with
search warrants, any premises within the said County
