SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this law shall
not take effect until it has first been submitted to the quali-
fied voters of Worcester County at the first general or
special election after the date of the passage hereof, and
has been approved by a majority of the voters voting there-
on. The Supervisors of Elections of Worcester County are
hereby authorized and empowered to determine the manner
of the submission of this law to the qualified voters, and
for the voting thereon and for ascertaining the results.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Section 190 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Elec-
tions, " sub-title "Primary Elections, " shall not apply to
Worcester County, whenever it is inconsistent herewith;
provided, however, that the said repeal shall not take effect
until the approval hereof by the voters of Worcester County,
as provided by Section 2 of this Act.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
parts of laws, whether Public General or Public Local Laws,
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and they are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 544.
AN ACT to add eighteen new sections to Article 5 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Calvert County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace
and Constables", said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 174A to 174R, both inclusive, and to follow im-
mediately after Section 174 of said Article, providing
for the appointment of a Justice of the Peace for Cal-
vert County at Large, to be known as "Police Justice",
defining his duties, powers, authority and jurisdiction,
both civil and criminal, as well as defining the duties,
powers, authority and jurisdiction of other Justices of
the Peace of said County, both civil and criminal.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That eighteen new sections be and they are
hereby added to Article 5 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert County, " sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables", said new sections
