the center line of the said Rockville-Georgetown Road to
the South boundary line of the Town of Rockville; then
along the boundary lines of the said Town of Rockville in
the easterly and northeasterly directions to a point 300
feet North of the center of the Rockville-Norbeck Road
on the East boundary line of the said Town of Rockville,
extended; then in a northeasterly direction parallel and
300 feet North of the center of the said Rockville-Norbeck
Road to the present boundary line of the Maryland-Wash-
ington Metropolitan District; then in the southerly and
westerly direction along the present boundary lines of the
Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District to the place
of beginning. " The purpose of this Act being to include
all of the remaining area of the Rockville or Number
Four X_4) Election District of Montgomery County, which
lies East of the Washington-Georgetown Road, and
South of the boundary line of the Town of Rockville, and
the Rockville-Norbeck Road, and which has not hereto-
fore been included in the Maryland-Washington Metro-
politan District.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the area of the Maryland-Washington
Metropolitan District within Montgomery County and the
jurisdiction of the Maryland National Capital Park and
Planning Commission be extended to include that additional
territory within the following described boundary lines
"Beginning at a point where present West boundary line of
the Maryland-Washington Metropolitan District intersects
with the extension of the center line of the road running
from the Halpine Station westerly to the Rockville-George-
town Road, said point being 300 feet West of the said Rock-
ville-Georgetown Road and running thence in a northwest-
erly direction parallel and 300 feet West of the center line
of the said Rockville-Georgetown Road to the South bound-
ary line of the Town of Rockville; then along the boundary
lines of the said Town of Rockville in the easterly and
northeasterly directions to a point 300 feet North of the
center of the Rockville-Norbeck Road on the East boundary
line of the said Town of Rockville, extended; then in a
northeasterly direction parallel and 300 feet North of the
center of the said Rockville-Norbeck Road to the present
boundary line of the Maryland-Washington Metropolitan
District; then in the southerly and westerly direction along
the present boundary lines of the Maryland-Washington
Metropolitan District to the place of beginning. " The pur-
pose of this Act being to include all of the remaining area
