dissolution of such corporation and any dissolution or liqui-
dation of a corporation subject to the provisions of this
sub-title shall be under the supervision of the State Insur-
ance Commissioner.
488J. Every corporation subject to the provisions of
this sub-title is hereby declared to be a charitable and
benevolent institution and all of its funds and property,
except real estate and office equipment, shall be exempt
from every State, County, Municipal and all other taxes.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Schools"; to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 145 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, 1924 Edition, title "Public Education, " sub-title
"The County Superintendent of Schools, " as amended by
Chapter 224 of the Acts of 1933; to repeal and re-enact,
with amendments, Section 195 of Article 77 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, 1929 Edition, title "Public Edu-
cation, " sub-title "High Schools, " as amended by Chapter
224 of the Acts of 1933, and Sections 202 and 203 of
Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1924 Edi-
tion, title "Public Education, " sub-title "Schools for
Colored Children, " as amended by Chapter 224 of the
Acts of 1933, for the purpose of authorizing a temporary
reduction of the minimum salaries for county school offi-
