Comptroller all sales and purchases of alcoholic beverages
for which the records prescribed by this Section are re-
quired to be kept.

In addition to the penalties prescribed by this Act, the
Comptroller shall have power to suspend immediately, with-
out a hearing, the license of any licensee who shall fail to
comply with the provisions of this Section, for a period not
exceeding thirty days, and such license may be further sus-
pended or revoked, after hearing, by the said Comptroller
for the willful failure or refusal of any licensee to comply
with any rule or regulations that may be adopted by the
Comptroller in pursuance of this Act or any Act of As-
sembly relating to taxes payable to the State of Maryland
by any licensee hereunder.

Section 316J. If any affidavit or oath required under
the provisions of this Act shall contain any false statement,
the offender shall be deemed guilty of perjury and upon in-
dictment and conviction thereof shall be subject to the pen-
alties provided by law for that crime.

Section 316K. In all hearings upon applications and
remonstrances under the provisions of this Act, the general
reputation of the applicant or licensee and of the place of
business and of the people who congregate therein or
thereat shall be admissible in evidence.

Section 316L Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this Act, for which no penalty is provided, shall
upon conviction be subject to a fine or not more than Five
Hundred Dollars, or to imprisonment not exceeding one
year, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of
the Court.

Section 316M. All fines imposed for any violation of any
provision of this act shall be disposed of as follows:

One-half of each fine shall be disposed of as provided by
Section 4 of Article 38 of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland. Where the offense has been committed in any
incorporated City or town, one-quarter shall go to said City
or town as the case may be, and the remainder one-quarter
shall be paid to Allegany County for its general purposes,
and where said offense has been committed outside of any
incorporated City or town, one-half of said fine shall be
paid to Allegany County for its general purposes.
