Potomac and Wheaton election districts, except in the
towns of Takoma Park and Kensington?" The said dis-
tricts, except the towns of Takoma Park and Kensington
shall constitute a single unit for the purpose of any such
petition or referendum vote.

571C. If a special election is held under the provisions
of this Act the vote upon the above questions, or either of
them, (depending upon the petitions which are filed) shall
be by ballot, and underneath each of the questions sub-
mitted there shall be printed the words "FOR SUCH
SYSTEM" and "AGAINST SUCH SYSTEM, " and except
as otherwise provided by this Act, the said election shall
be conducted and the results thereof ascertained and deter-
mined in accordance with the Constitution and laws of this
State relating to elections to the Senate and the House of
Delegates.

571D. If it shall appear from the results of said elec-
tion that a majority of the votes in Rockville, Bethesda,
Potomac and Wheaton election districts, except in the
towns of Takoma Park and Kensington, are against the
continuation of the license and dispensary system within
said districts, no license for the sale of alcoholic beverages
shall thereafter be approved or issued for any place of
business located within the said districts, and the dispen-
sary system for Montgomery County authorized by Chap-
ter 2 of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session of the
General Assembly of 1933, shall be discontinued. If it
shall appear from the results of said election that a ma-
jority of the votes are in favor of the continuation of the
license and dispensary system, then the said system shall
be continued as authorized by said Act of the General
Assembly.

571E. If it shall appear from the results of said elec-
tion that a majority of the votes in any of the election dis-
tricts of Laytonsville, Poolesville, Clarksburg, Colesville,
Darnestown, Olney, Gaithersburg, Barnesville or Damas-
cus, are in favor of the license system authorized for other
parts of Montgomery County, then licenses may be ap-
proved and issued for the sale of alcoholic beverages in
any of said districts, subject to the provisions of Chapter
2 of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session of the General
Assembly of 1933.
