1518 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 676

County, Maryland, to provide for the government thereof,
to create and define the powers of the Anne Arundel County
Sanitary Commission, to provide for the construction, main-
tenance, operation, purchase or condemnation of water sup-
ply and sewerage systems; to provide for the issuance of
bonds for the purpose of such construction, and to levy taxes,
assessments and benefits, water charges and rates for the
payment of said bonds in certain Sanitary Districts; to
provide for the operation, maintenance, regulation and con-
trol of said systems; to provide for a budget of the expenses
of said Sanitary Commission and for payment of the same
out of the road tax levied and collected within the Sani-
tary Districts, to transfer to the control of the County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County the collection and dis-
posal of refuse, and the care and maintenance of roads and

highways, within the Sanitary Districts, to punish by fine
and imprisonment certain offenses defined by this Act, and

for other purposes.

SECTION 1.. Be it enacted by the General Assemby of Mary-
land. That Chapter'245 of the Acts of 1922, entitled "An Act
to create certain Sanitary Districts within Anne Arundel Coun-
ty, Maryland," as amended by Chapter 168 of the Acts of
1924, and that said Chapter 168 of the Acts of 1924, be, and
the same are both hereby, repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:

SEC. 2. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
that all that part of Anne Arundel County described as fol-
lows:

Beginning for the first description at a point near the cen-
ter of the Patapsco River where the boundary line between
Baltimore and Anne Arundel Counties intersects the center
line of the State Road leading from Westport to Annapolis,
by way of North Linthicum, and binding on the center of the
said State Road Southerly for a distance of about 1300 feet;
and thence leaving the said State Road and running with the
center of an old road known as Hollins Ferry Road, the said
road being also one of the West boundaries of the First Pre-
cinct of the Fifth Election District, for a distance of about 1510
feet to the centerline of the old Short Line Railroad now the
property of the Terminal Real Estate Company; thence con-
tinuing with the center line of said road, Southerly about 725
feet to a point in the said road (known as the Belle Grove
State Road at this point) 200 feet Easterly as measured at
right angles to and from the center line of the State Road
