Maryland

This Indenture made this 20 day of the
Last month in the yeare of Our Lord god
one thousand six hundred Eighty five and in
the ninth yeare of the Dominion of Charles
absolute Lord & prop.ry of the province of Maryland
& avalon, Lord baron of Baltemore And
Between Hugh Mason & Margrett Binham
of the county of Kent & province of Maryland
of the one part And Andrew Cornelison of the
same county & province aforesd of the other pty
Witnesseth that the s.d Hugh Mason and
Margrett Binham for and in concideracon of
one thousand five hundred pounds of good well
condiconed tobacco in cask to him & her the said
Hugh Mason & Margrett Binham in hand pd
by the s.d Andrew Cornelison the receite whereof
Hugh Mason & Margrett Binham doth herby
acknowledg & confess & of Every part & parcell therof
doth clearly & absolutely acquit & discharge the s.d
Andrew Cornelison his heirs Executors & Adminis.rs
and Every of them for Ever by these presents
And for divers other good causes & concideracons the
s.d Hugh Mason & Margrett Binham therunto
Mouring he the s.d Hugh Mason & Margrett
Binham with our free will testified by our signing
and sealing of these presents hath given granted
bargained & sold aliened & confirmed and by these
presents doth fully frely and absolutely give grant
bargain sell alien and confirme unto the s.d Andrew
Cornelison and his heires part of a parcell of Land
taken up in Copartnership between Hugh Mason
and Mathew Binham the husband of the s.d
Margrett it being the Lower part of the tract
of Land caled Buck hill Lying & being on the North
side of Chester river in Kent County begining
where Cornelius Comegys Leaves of in whole
possesion the manor of that tract of Land is
in possesion and runing down the river
