JAMES THOMAS, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

1832.

whole of his real estate after the death of his wife Ann,
should be equally divided amongst his children, namely,
Caleb Dorsey, Ann E. Dorsey, Edward Dorsey, and Mary
Dorsey, as tenants in common; And whereas, the said Ann
Dorsey, relict of the said Richard Dorsey, afterwards inter-
married with the said Thomas H. Dorsey; And whereas,
the said Mary Dorsey, afterwards intermarried with the said
John S. Sellman; And whereas, the said Ann E. Dorsey,
afterwards intermarried with the said Essex R. Dorsey.
And whereas, the said Thomas H. Dorsey and Ann Dorsey
his wife, Caleb Dorsey, John S. Sellman, and Mary Sell-
man his wife, Essex R. Dorsey and Ann E. Dorsey his
wife, and said Edward Dorsey made a partial partition of
said real estate, by which the said Edward Dorsey should
hold in severally by deed of bargain and sale from the said
Thomas H. Dorsey and Ann Dorsey his wife, Caleb Dor-
sey, John S. Sellman, and Mary Sellman his wife, Essex
R. Dorsey, and Ann E. Dorsey his wife, a certain part of
the real estate of the said Richard Dorsey, and for which
the said Edward Dorsey agreed to convey by deed of bar-
gain and sale all his interest in law and equity, to the said
Caleb Dorsey, Mary Sellman, and Ann E. Dorsey, in fee as
tenants in common, the residue of the said real estate
of the said Richard Dorsey. And whereas, the said Mary
Sellman afterwards departed this life, leaving the following
children, namely: Leonard Sellman, Richard Dorsey Sell-
man, Mary Ann Jannatta Sellman, and John Stephen Sell-
sale to said Edward Dorsey, jointly, with the said Thomas
H. Dorsey, and Ann Dorsey his wife, Caleb Dorsey, John
S. Sellman, Essex R. Dorsey, and Ann E. Dorsey his wife,
and without receiving a deed of bargain and sale from
the said Edward Dorsey, jointly, with the other tenants in
common, for the residue of the real estate of the said
Richard Dorsey, in consequence of which, said agreement
cannot be fully executed without the special aid of this
Legislature;— Therefore,

CHAP. 93.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the said Thomas H. Dorsey, and Ann Dorsey
his wife, Caleb Dorsey, John S. Sellman, Essex R. Dorsey
and Ann E. Dorsey his wife, and Edward Dorsey, shall be
and they are hereby fully authorised to carry said agreement
into complete and perfect effect, by mutual deeds of bar-
gain and sale, and partition, in the same manner, to all in-
tents and purposes whatsoever, as they could have done
.conjointly, with the said Mary Sellman in her life-time.
