CHAP. 93.
|
Jacob Miller, James Grimes, and Henry Peterbenner, be,
and they are hereby appointed commissioners, and author-
ized forthwith, after the said confirmation, to review the
first and sixth election districts of said county, and to lay
off, locate, and establish an additional election district, in
said county as aforesaid; and said commissioners shall
make a return of all of their proceedings to Washington
county court, to be there recorded at the expense of the
county, and paid as county charges are levied and paid;
and the commissioners of Washington county are hereby
authorised and directed to appoint a commissioner or com-
named, who may die, resign, or refuse or fail to act, in

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners ap-
pointed as aforesaid, shall proceed to review districts Nos.
one, two, and six, and if, in their wisdom and judgment,
they, or a majority of them, shall deem the convenience of
the voters of said districts, or any part of them, to be pro-
moted by changing and altering the lines and bounds of
said districts, or any part of them, they shall proceed to
make such changes and report of the same as aforesaid,
and the commissioners compensated as aforesaid.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That the commissioners herein
authorised to be appointed, shall be entitled to receive
such compensation for their services, as the commissioners
of Washington county may deem reasonable, not exceed-
ing the sum of two dollars per day for every day they shall
be necessarily employed in the discharge of the duties re-
quired by this act.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it is represented to the General Assembly of
Maryland, by the petition of Thomas H. Dorsey, and Ann
Dorsey his wife, Caleb Dorsey, John S. Sellman, Essex R.
Dorsey, and Ann E. Dorsey his wife, and Edward Dorsey
of Richard, That a certain Richard Dorsey, deceased, at
the time of his death, was seized in fee of certain real
estate in Anne Arundel county, part of which he devised
to his wife Ann Dorsey, for life, and directed that the
