CHAPTER 122

Passed Feb. 20, 1835

An act to change a part of the divisional line between the
fourth and fifth Election Districts in Worcester County

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the divisional line, between the fourth and filth election dis-
tricts in Worcester county, shall run by and with the north
west side of the plantation were Benjamin S Melson of
Samuel, now lives, and from thence to the northwest side of
the plantation where James While, of Francis, now lives,
until it intersects the line of Delaware, and all that part of
the fifth district is hereby attached to the fourth district, and
all voters lying within these limits shall hereafter vote at
the place of holding the election in the fourth, or what is
called the cross roads district

An act to alter and amend a Road in Harford and Balti-
more counties leading from the Upper Cross Roads, in
Harford County, to Baltimore City

Commissioner to

open &c

Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That Thomas Hope, Abraham Rutledge, ard
William Nelson, lor Harford County, and Davis Powel and
Samuel Watkins for Baltimore county, they, or a majority
of them, be, and they are hereby appointed commissioners
to lay out and open a road not exceeding thirty feet in

width, commencing at the bridge across Baldwin's mill
race, in Harford county, on the load leading from the up
per cross roads, to Baltimore, by the bridge lately built
across the Little Gunpowder Falls, near said Baldwin's mill,
to intersect the said road on the top of the hill, on the most
practicable route on the west side of said falls in Baltimore

county, and the said commissioners shall make a plat of so
much of said road as shall be in Harford county, and return
the same to the commissioners of Harford county, to be re
corded, and likewise a plat of so much of said road as shall
be in Baltimore county, and return the same to the commis-
sioner's of Baltimore county, to be recorded, and the said
road, when so opened, shall be deemed a public road, and.
