An act to alter and amend the lines dividing the Seventh
and Eighth Election Districts, in Baltimore county
|

WHEREAS, it hath been represented to this General As-
sembly, that much inconvenience is experienced by the vo-
ters of Baltimore county, residing in the eighth electron dis-
trict in consequence of the remoteness of the place of
holding the election in said district, and that a change in the
location of part of said district, would greatly promote their
convenience and the public good, the prayer of the petition
ers appearing reasonable and just, Therefore

Preamble

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
a part of the eight election district in Baltimore county, be
added to the seventh district, according to the following
lines viz beginning at E Rider's Mill, on the present divi-
sional line of said district, running north to the ninth mile
stone on the York turnpike, thence to Ridgely's furnace
road where it will intersect the said divisional line, and it
shall and maybe lawful for all voters now residing within
the present lines of the eighth district, and within the lim-
its of the aforesaid lines as above directed to be run, to
vote at the place of holding the elections in the seventh
election district, at all future elections
