SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the following section, to be known as Section 9, be,
and the same is hereby added to Chapter 425 of the Acts of
1884 of the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled "An Act
to incorporate the Maryland Title Insurance and Trust Com-
pany," to wit:
SEC. 9. The said incorporation shall possess all the powers
given to trust companies under Article II of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, or under any additions thereto or amend-
ments thereof.

CHAPTER 322.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 399
of the Acts of 1914 and 243 of the Acts of 1918, and to add
a new section thereto to be known as Section 11, relating
to the repair of public roads in Calvert County and to
create a Road Commissioner for said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 399 of the Acts of 1914 and 243 of the
Acts of 1918, relating to the repair of public roads in Calvert
County be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments and that a new section to be known as Section 11
be and it is hereby added thereto, and to read as follows:
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That on or before the
2nd Monday in March, 1921, and on or before the 2nd Monday
in March each and every year thereafter the County Commis-
sioners of Calvert County shall appoint one well known and
competent taxpayer of said county as Road Commissioner for
Calvert County who shall serve for the period of one year from
the date of his appointment and until his successor is ap-
pointed and qualified as herein provided and in case of a
vacancy occurring at any time during the existence of this
law, it shall be filled by the County Commissioners of Calvert
County. And until the 2nd Monday in March, 1921, Chas. W.
Monett be and he is hereby appointed the Road Commissioner
of Calvert County and with power and authority to perform
all the duties required of the Road Commissioner of Calvert
County.
