A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to Incorporate
the Real Estate Bank, of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland. That as soon as five thousand shares of the
stork of the said hank shall be subscribed, the proprie-
tors of said shares, their successors and assigns, shall
corporation and body politic, by the name and style of
the Real Estate Bank of Baltimore, with all and sin-
gular the powers conferred by the fourth section of the
act to which this is a supplement.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the president and
directors of the said bank may open books for a sub-
scription, to the residue of the capital stock of said
the whole of the said capital shall have been sub-

scribed, and the, affairs of .the said bank shall be mana-
ged by seven directors.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That instead of the bo-
nus required by the act to which this is a supplement
to be paid by the said Real Estate Bank of Baltimore,
the said president ami directors sliull on the iirst day
of January next, after going into operation, pay unto
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, the sum of three
and three quarters per cent on the cash capital of the
said bank subscribed, and shall always as the amount
of said capital is increased by the 'sale of bonds
or otherwise, pay the premium at the same ratio on
said increased cash capital subscribed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the notes which the
said bank are authorised to issue, payable at deferred
