to John Street, and continuing thence in a Southeasterly direc-
tion along the middle line of said street, 3/8ths of a mile, more
or less, to an intersection with the Southeastern line of the
right of way of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; and con-
tinuing thence in a Southwesterly direction along said line of
right of way, 3/4ths of a mile, more or less, to a point opposite
Halderman Avenue, thence with the center line of Halderman
Avenue to the right-of-way to the Washington Railway Elec-
tric Company; thence across said right-of-way to the center
line of the Bunker Hill road, thence with the center line of
Bunker Hill road in a westerly direction to the western bound-
ary line of the Keenan property, and continuing thence in a
Northerly direction along said line 1/8h of a mile, more or
less to the Southern boundary of Brentwood subdivision, and
continuing thence in a westerly direction along said line
3/16ths of a mile more or less to Cedar Lane; and continuing
thence in a northerly direction along said line, and line of
Mount Rainier Corporation, 1/8th of a mile, more or less, to
the middle of Dewey Street; and continuing thence in a west-
erly direction along said line 150 feet, more or less, to 34th
Street, and continuing thence in a northerly direction along
said street, 3/8ths of a mile, more or less, to the northernmost
corner of the corporation of Mount Rainier, at the place of
beginning, enclosing an area of 400 acres, more or less.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Town of
Brentwood shall be divided in four wards, as follows:
First Ward—That portion of the Town lying between the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, and the City and Suburban
Railroad, John Street, and the boundary line of the town of
Mount Rainier.
Second Ward—Shall comprise that territory of said town
bounded on the North by right of way of the Washington
Railway and Electric Company, and on the North by middle
line of John Street, as said Street runs from the Electric Rail-
way above mentioned, in the Northwesterly direction to a point
in centre line of Prospect Ave., where, if John Street were
so continued said John Street would intersect Prospect Ave-
nue, thence in a Southerly direction along Prospect Avenue
to Henry Street; thence along middle line of Henry Street to
intersection with Washington Railway & Electric Co.
Third Ward—shall comprise that section of the town bound-
ed by the North boundary of said town, and on the west by
Western boundary of said town, to the point where Dewey
