Street intersects the Western boundary of said town of Brent-
wood; thence along middle line of Dewey Street to intersec-
tion with Wells Street; thence Northerly middle line of Wells
Street to intersection with Henry Street; thence Northeast
along middle line of Henry Street to point where Henry Street
intersects with middle line of Prospect Avenue.

Fourth Ward—shall comprise that territory of said town
bounded on the West by the Western boundary of said town of
Brentwood, and on the South by the Southern boundary of
said town of Brentwood to the point where the Southern boun-
dary of said town intersects with the Western boundary of
Keenan Homestead; thence along the Western boundary of
Keenan Homestead, in Southern direction to the point where
the Western boundary intersects with the right of way of the
Washington Railway and Electric Company; thence along line
of said Railway in Northeast direction to the point where
Henry Street intersects with said right of way of the said
Railway; thence along middle line of Henry Street in a North-
western direction to a point connecting with Wells Street;
thence, middle line of Wells Street, in Southern direction to a
point where Dewey Street connects with Wells Street; thence
West along middle line of Dewey Street to a point where
Dewey Street connects with Western boundary of the said town
of Brentwood.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the officers of said
town shall consist of a Mayor and four Councilmen; one Coun-
cilman to be elected from each Ward by the voters of said
Ward, and such appointive officers as are hereinafter desig-
nated, or shall be appointed by the Mayor and Town Council,
and each officer appointed shall continue to hold office for such
terms as the Mayor and Town Council shall designate, or
until his successor is duly qualified. Before entering upon
the duties of his office, each officer shall take oath that he will
diligently and faithfully discharge all duties of his office with-
out favor, partiality or prejudice, and said oath shall be filed
among the records of said town.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That at the first elec-
tion of officers held under this Charter, the qualified voters of
the Town shall elect a Mayor to serve the term of one year,
and shall elect four Councilmen, one from each Ward to be
voted for by the qualified voters of each Ward, two to serve for
the term of two years, and two to serve for the term of one
