the ordinances of said corporation, and may impose fines for
such violations, or may imprison offenders against said ordi-
nances and in default of payment of any fine imposed by him
he shall commit the offender to the town lockup or to the county
jail until the same be paid in accordance with law as may be
provided by the ordinances of said town or provided in this
charter.
SEC. 18. And be it enacted, That at the meetings of said
council three shall constitute a quorum and all questions sub-
mitted shall be decided by a majority of those. present, but less
than a quorum shall appoint the time for a subsequent meet-
ing and adjourn.

CHAPTER 515.
AN ACT to incorporate the Town of Brentwood, in Prince
George's County, Maryland, and to provide for the submis-
sion of this question to the qualified voters of said town for
their adoption or rejection.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the citizens of the Town of Brentwood are a
body corporate, by the name of the Mayor and Town Council
of Brentwood and by that name may have perpetual succession,
sue and be sued, have and use a common seal, and may pur-
chase and hold real estate, or dispose of the same for the
benefit of said Town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the boundaries of
the said town shall be as follows: Beginning at the northern-
most corner of the corporation of Mount Rainier, which is at
the intersection of 34th and Grape Streets, and running thence
in a northeasterly direction, along the Southeastern line of
Kline's farm, 3/16ths of a mile, more or less, to an intersec-
tion with the Northwest branch of the Anacostia River; and
continuing thence in a Southeasterly general direction along
said stream 1/4 mile, more or less to the intersection of the
Southeastern line of Czarra's subdivision; and continuing
thence in a Southwesterly general direction, along Mover's
Millrace, 1/4th mile, more or less, to Oak Street, and continu-
ing thence in a Southeasterly direction 150 feet more or less
