way running through the Town of Rockville, beginning at the
corporate limits of said town with the outlines of the property
belonging to the Agricultural Society of Montgomery County,
intersect the same and running to the corporate limits of said
town with the Frederick Road, and to the corporate limits of
said town with the road leading to Darnestown, and to the cor-
porate limits of said town with the road leading to Norbeck,
connecting at each of the four points named with improved
highways already in existence.

SEC. 2. Be if further enacted, That the County Commis-
missioners of Montgomery County be and they are hereby di-
rected to borrow on the credit of the said County an additional
sum not to exceed ten thousand dollars for the purpose of re-
building and improving the public highway through the Town
of Rockville and said Commissioners shall issue coupon bonds
under seal of the said Commissioners for the amount bor-
rowed, Undent the provisions of this Act. The said bonds to be
signed by the President of the said Board of County Commis-
sioners for Montgomery County and countersigned by the Clerk
thereof, in sums not less than one hundred dollars. The said
bonds to bear interest from the day of the issue thereof at the
rate of not more than five per cent, per annum, payable semi-
annually, and all said interest to the maturity of each of said
bonds shall be provided for and set forth in the coupon attached
to each of said bonds respectively, for the interest due and
payable thereon, and each of said bonds shall have printed on
them a distinct reference to this Act authorizing the issue.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all bonds issued
under the provisions of this Act shall be redeemable as fol-
lows : that is to say, not less than one thousand dollars thereof
in one year from the maturity of the last one of said bonds
issued under the provisions of Chapter 31 of the Acts of the
General Assembly passed at the Extra Session of 1917; and
thereafter annualy not less than one thousand dollars each and
every year until the whole amount of said bonds and coupons
shall have been paid, and to this end, the said Commissioners
shall issue the said bonds in series redeemable in their proper
order, and said bonds shall be sold after advertisement, at
public or private sale, in the discretion of the said Commis-
sioners for Montgomery County, but none of said bonds shall
be sold at less than par.
