CHAP. 428

or debts secured by the annexed deed of trust has or have
been assigned by me this day of ———— A. D. ———— to
————; which certificate and affidavit shall be recorded at
the foot of the original record of such deed of trust in a
space to be left therefor by the clerk; provided that, in the
event only a part of the debt or debts secured as aforesaid
shall be assigned, such certificate shall specifically describe
the part or parts so assigned.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in all matters and for all
purposes the person appearing upon the records of said

Montgomery county as the owner, either by the original
transaction or as assignee as aforesaid, of such debt or debts,
shall be conclusively presumed to be the true and lawful
owner of the same.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That no release of such deed
of trust made and executed by the trustee or trustees named

be endorsed the fact that the same is secured by deed of
trust upon real estate in Montgomery county, Maryland.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage, but shall not affect deeds of
trust executed and reserved prior thereto, or the releases of
the same.

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Hospital for Con-
sumptives of Maryland, and to change its name to " Hos-
pital for Consumptives of Maryland," and to give the latter
additional powers and to make appropriations therefor.

Baltimore city, was incorporated under the general laws of
