or debts secured by the annexed deed of trust has or have
been assigned by me this day of ———— A. D. ———— to
————; which certificate and affidavit shall be recorded at
the foot of the original record of such deed of trust in a
space to be left therefor by the clerk; provided that, in the
event only a part of the debt or debts secured as aforesaid
shall be assigned, such certificate shall specifically describe
the part or parts so assigned.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in all matters and for all
purposes the person appearing upon the records of said

shall be conclusively presumed to be the true and lawful
owner of the same.

or effectual to release or discharge the lien created by such
deed of trust unless the person or persons appearing on the
records, as aforesaid, as the owner of the debt or debts
secured thereby, or his, her or their legal representative,

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That upon each note or other

evidence of debt secured by such deed of trust there shall
be endorsed the fact that the same is secured by deed of
trust upon real estate in Montgomery county, Maryland.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage, but shall not affect deeds of
trust executed and reserved prior thereto, or the releases of
the same.
